By downloading, installing, or playing Pointy Pixel, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
If you are under 13, you may only use Pointy Pixel with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Pointy Pixel for your own entertainment. You may not:
Pointy Pixel does not require you to create an account to play. Your username and game progress are associated with your device installation.
You are responsible for your username. Please choose one that is appropriate and does not impersonate others or contain offensive content. We reserve the right to change or remove usernames that violate these terms.
You can change your username at any time in the app's Settings. To request deletion of the data associated with you, contact us at the address below.
If you import your own images to create custom drawings, you confirm that you have the right to use those images and that they do not infringe anyone else's rights. Imported images are stored locally on your device and are not shared with us or other users.
The Pointy Pixel app itself — including its code, design, user interface, name and logo — is owned by Kay Schieck (the operator of Pointy Pixel) and is protected by copyright law.
Some of the artwork, illustrations, music and sounds in Pointy Pixel are created by or licensed from third-party artists and creators, and remain the property of their respective owners. They are used under licence; where a licence requires attribution, credit is given accordingly.
Third party fonts and libraries are used under their respective open source licences, which are listed within the app.
Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
Leaderboards are intended to be a fun, fair way to compare progress. We reserve the right to remove scores or usernames that we reasonably believe were achieved through cheating, exploits, or manipulation.
We may reset leaderboards at any time, for example at the start of a new weekly period or following a significant game update.
We aim to keep Pointy Pixel available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The game may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or issues outside our control.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the game at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kay Schieck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Pointy Pixel, including loss of data, loss of progress, or loss of scores.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the game shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim, or €10, whichever is greater.
You may stop using Pointy Pixel at any time by uninstalling the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. If we do so, we will try to give you reasonable notice unless the violation is serious.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of Pointy Pixel after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
